The Voice of Affordable Housing in Tennessee

TNAHC is a statewide coalition representing more than 100 members and 60 organizations across 30+ cities and 20+ counties. Through three regional councils serving East, Middle, and West Tennessee, TNAHC ensures that local perspectives shape statewide strategy and advocacy.

Who We Are

The Tennessee Affordable Housing Coalition (TNAHC) is a statewide 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to increasing the availability and improving the quality of affordable housing across Tennessee. Founded in 2010, TNAHC brings together professionals, advocates, and organizations committed to strengthening communities through housing affordability.

Our Board

Our board represents geographic regions across the state and a wide range of industries involved in the development, rehabilitation, and financing of affordable housing. Representation categories are guided by our bylaws to ensure balanced leadership and a statewide perspective.

  • Alex is a proud native of the Volunteer State, born and raised in East Tennessee. With experience supporting working families in nonprofits, labor organizing, and campaigns, Alex joined the Coalition in 2025 to help restore the promise that hard work should lead to a secure home. In addition to his professional pursuits, he and his wife, Kiara, are involved in many community service endeavors, especially focused on vulnerable communities.

  • Keith began his banking career at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where he played a key role in launching the Community Affairs office in Memphis to support communities across West Tennessee, Eastern Arkansas, and North Mississippi. In October 2015, Keith joined First Tennessee as CRA Officer, later transitioning to Community Development Manager for First Horizon Bank with responsibility for the entire West Tennessee region. He currently serves on the boards of Convergence Memphis, Local Initiative Support Coalition, Hospitality HUB, and the Tennessee Affordable Housing Coalition.

  • Angela Hubbard serves as Housing Director with the Metro Nashville Planning Department to establish the City’s first Housing Division. In this role, she leads a team focused on creating long-term housing strategies that align systems, partners, and resources to address Nashville’s housing challenges. She is committed to creative and innovative approaches that are resident-centric and neighborhood-appropriate and that address long-standing housing issues in Nashville.

  • Kevin Hicks is an experienced Facilities Director with more than 20 years of progressive leadership in facilities management, construction oversight, and maintenance operations. He currently serves as Facilities Director at Emory Valley Center, where he oversees the operations of 23 commercial and residential properties, manages multimillion-dollar capital and renovation projects, and leads preventive maintenance and fleet strategies to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he demonstrates a strong commitment to community service through leadership roles with the Tennessee Affordable Housing Coalition, The Arc of Anderson County, and Leadership Oak Ridge, and has been recognized with the ARC Dove Award for Outstanding Community Service.

  • Brian hails from Hendersonville, Tennessee. As founder of Drobnick Real Estate Services, LLC, Brian assists his clients in their affordable and multifamily housing objectives across Tennessee and select markets in the eastern United States. Brian has worked in affordable housing and community development for more than 20 years and brings a keen passion for addressing housing issues through collaboration and strategic thinking.

  • Angela is married to her husband of 36 years, Shane, and has 3 adult children and 2 amazing grandchildren. She is Chief Operating Officer at The Housing Fund, Inc., a financial institution providing affordable housing loans across the state of Tennessee, where she has served for the last 20 years. Her desire for everyone to have a safe and healthy place to call home fuels her passion for affordable housing initiatives across the state, country, and world.

  • Director of Relocation | LHP Capital

    Kimberly Avon represents the Middle Tennessee region and absolutely adores the Greater Nashville community since relocating from Alabama a decade ago. She currently serves as the Director of Relocation for LHP Capital, where she manages complex relocation processes for elderly and family properties undergoing major rehabilitation. Kimberly is driven by the belief that safe, accessible housing is the cornerstone of a thriving community and is passionate about creating sustainable paths to housing security for all.

    Sharon Bosworth joined Affordable Housing Resources in 2011 as Director of Lending after working over 30 years in the mortgage industry, helping low income families to realize their dream of homeownership is important and I will continue to help them make their dreams a possibility.

    Dr. Cheryl Brown born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, 37 years married and three children, has lived in TN for 26 years. CEO/President of Good Neighbor Foundation, a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency. I am very dedicated to preserving homeownership for individuals and families of all income levels.

    Ashley Cash holds a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from the University of Memphis. She is the Director for the Division of Housing and Community Development for the City of Memphis. Ashley has worked over the past ten years in varying areas of community development; focusing on quality of life planning and ensuring that all neighborhoods have equitable access to basic needs, opportunities, and amenities.

    Staci Coleman is a Nashville native with deep roots in community service and a lifelong commitment to strengthening neighborhoods through leadership and advocacy. She is a licensed real estate broker, Broker Owner of The Arbitrage Collective, and the CEO of Black Diamond Development, where she leads the planning, financing, and execution of affordable, workforce, senior, and veteran housing initiatives across Middle Tennessee. Her work is driven by a passion for expanding equitable access to quality housing and creating lasting pathways to stability and opportunity for underserved communities.

    Angela Conner is a dedicated community development advocate based in Knoxville, TN with her husband Phillip and 2 sons. She serves as Director of CRA Community Development for Truist, leading initiatives that foster economic growth and equitable opportunities. Angela is passionate about housing because a stable, affordable home is the cornerstone of family growth and a catalyst for economic empowerment, creating opportunities that transform lives and strengthen communities.

    Anne Cooper lives in Jonesborough, Tennessee, is the mother of two sons and a grandmother, and brings a global perspective shaped by a year as a foreign exchange student in South America and fluency in Spanish. She is an accomplished community development professional with a summa cum laude degree in Economics from East Tennessee State University and over two decades of experience in housing, grants management, and public development, and has served as Executive Director of the Appalachian Regional Coalition on Homelessness (ARCH) Continuum of Care since 2013. Anne is deeply passionate about expanding housing opportunities for underserved populations and building strong, sustainable communities.

    Lindy Turner, CEO, leads the Clinch Powell Resource Conservation and Development Council, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization serving the Appalachian region of Tennessee primarily, with a focus on investing in people, places, and prosperity in rural communities. Entering the housing arena in 2001, Clinch-Powell is a HUD-approved counseling agency, a Community Housing Development Organization, a licensed Mortgage Broker, a certified USDA loan packager, an Energy Star builder, and a Rural LISC Financial Opportunity Center. Lindy and Clinch-Powell have a passion for making housing attainable and sustainable for rural Tennesseans because stable housing creates stable families and stable families create thriving communities.
